The University Library and OSCG will be hosting the Celebrating Openness: Impact of Open Science event on the 20th of February (Thurs), at the House of Connections (Grote Markt 21, 9712 HR Groningen).

The keynote speaker is Ellen Carbo from ZonMw. She will share her insight on her keynote ‘Open (the) Science: A funder’s perspective’. We have the three winners of the Open Research Award present their work in 3 lightning talks. The Open Research Awards are organized together with the university library and celebrate the many ways in which academics make their research more accessible, transparent or reproducible. The event will end with an interactive panel discussion about the impact of Open Science outside of academia in assessments and policy.
