Open Science Community Groningen is organising its summer event to wrap up the academic year! This year, we are collaborating with the UG Digital Competence Centre (DCC) to provide you an afternoon on “Open Science and FAIR Data” where you can work on an Interdisciplinary OS Research Scenario with other participants!
The event will take place at the Van Swinderen Huys and we invite academics and academic staff from across Groningen in “Building Interdisciplinary Communities”. To kick-off the event, Dr. Sarahanne Field will give a keynote and share insight on the importance of Communities of Practice in Open Science.
Event details
- When: 20th June @ 13:00 – 18:00 CET
- Where: Van Swinderen Huys (Oude Boteringestraat 19, 9712 GC)
- Price: Free! Drinks and (vegetarian) snacks will be provided + borrel!
This event aims to bring new and experienced OS practitioners and enthusiasts to work on Research Scenarios (examples). If you are new to Open Science, don’t worry – we don’t bite 🙂
Research Scenarios will be prepared in advance by the UG DCC and the OSCG. The collaborative efforts will be published so you can stake your claim on contributing towards addressing OS questions!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact: openscience-groningen@rug.nl
See you there!
